Hello,

Well as you know by the subject of this email it is transfer week. I am getting transferred to a new area. I saw it coming and it is a good thing, I think, because I've talked to a lot of people in this area and I've knocked the apartments out and so it is good that I will go now and they will be able to start fresh again.

I'm excited to go to a new area and get a new companion. Change is good especially as a missionary because you get into a robotic sense sometimes and change wakes you up and kicks you out of the robotic motions. I am probably going to be going to an English area, but will continue to work on my Spanish. We'll see what happens...

This week was really different. I've been real sick the last week and a half. My body has just ached and I've had no energy and have lost like 10 pounds or so. It's been weird but I just went at it everyday and got to work.

Everyone that we are teaching is blowing the game real bad. First, Moises... we had a great lesson with him on Friday with a member and the Spirit was there and we taught him about keeping the sabbath day holy, and he committed to living it and committed to coming to church, but then church rolls around and he doesn't come. We went by before to wake him up and he wasn't there (obviously) and then after church we went by to see what happened and he wasn't there. So we are going to drop him and move on to someone that is going to progress and come to church.

Alex... our buddy that lost his hand and had his crazy experience, blew the game as well. We went by on like Tuesday and tried to teach him but he was cutting his hair and we didn't have time to talk to him much. He knew we were going to come on Sunday afternoon at 12 to get him for church and when we did, he wasn't there. They told us he went to HEB (which is like a Wal-mart here in Texas) and so we went and walked through HEB and we never found him. It is really disappointing when you have sweet people that need the Gospel and then they don't do what is necessary to act upon it and accept it. But we will just keep moving on with people searching for the elect.

A real great story this last week... We were knocking in the most random place ever - pretty much out in the middle of nowhere. We knock on this house that was pretty much a shack and a guy answers the door, but he wasn't just some guy he was a hippy and had no shirt on, super long hair, and short shorts. Well he invited us in immediately and we thought for sure that we were going to disappear or something. We get talking to him and we just tell him how it is and why we were there and what not but the funny thing about it was that before we started talking he asked us if any of us wore size 10.5 shoes. I said I did and asked "how come?" He points behind us and he says "I have these pairs of Air Jordans that I don't wear and haven't worn that I'm trying to give away." So I tried them on and to make a long story short I got a free retro pair of Air Jordan's from a hippy guy in a shack. It was great. I was super stoked about them and I wore them to play basketball this morning and they were great. Ha -- I know it's real sketch but it is a great story!

That is about it that happened this week. Nothing too special happened... until next week.

Love you all

Elder Harvey
