Dad,
Apparently the package got delivered to the office. I don't know how that happened and I would imagine since there was no number on it that is why it didn't get delivered to our apartment. I will have the Elders there go get it and secure it for me and when I see them next I will get it from them since I have been transferred and all.
[Note from Dad... I put his number on it. We are trying to find it and I suggested the apartment complex office. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it shows up.}
I have been transferred up to the North Zone in San Antonio. It is obviously bordering our zone and not very far from us. We are serving here in a branch, Monte Vista. It is pure Spanish! I was very stoked when the call-out was made at transfer meeting because I know this area is sweet and it is all Spanish so I will be able to better my language skills before I come home. I think it is working because as I'm typing I am thinking in Spanish and am not doing a great job at spelling. Another perk to serving here is who I'm with. I was assigned to work with Elder Lindsay from Boise, ID. The interesting thing about that is that while I was in Riverside he was there as well because there are two areas in the Riverside Ward in Austin. And to make it even more crazy, we spent Christmas together last year and we will probably spend it together this year as well. The area here goes from the temple area all the way down to downtown San Antonio. The reason being is because we cover the Stake for the Spanish. It is pretty ghetto in some areas because it is so close to downtown, but then when we go up next to the temple there are nice, big houses. This area has a lot of potential and we are getting down to business to get it done!

The week was very interesting and a week that I will remember for the rest of my life. Before leaving the Randolph area I said goodbyes to all of the investigators that we have been working with, namely Chris and Gabby and Garry and Jody. If you remembered Garry and Jody were getting married this last week and then were going to get baptized on Saturday. Well... it all happened. They were married on Friday and the wedding was great. I wasn't able to go to the wedding but I saw pictures of it and was told by Elder Elkins that it went very good. On Saturday I was able to attend their baptism. It was truly a blessing to be able to get permission from President and to attend it. It was a very long road for them. They pushed through it though and got it done. It was very interesting to go to a baptism on Saturday because I was focused on something else and how the Spirit was at the "other" thing. On Friday, Elder Lindsay and I, were able to attend a sealing of a family that Elder Lindsay had met at the beginning of his mission. I've never attended a sealing and so it was a very powerful experience to be there and to listen to the covenants we make and the blessings of keeping those covenants. The reason that the baptism was interesting is because that "other" thing that I was focused on was the fact that a baptism and the Spirit that you feel was nothing compared to a sealing in the Lord's house. The ultimate climax of one's journey of becoming a member is when they are sealed in the temple and so seeing that on Friday and then going to the baptism on Saturday really was a boost to get people to the Temple. It was also a boost for me. As I thought about the experience that I just was able to see, I realized the strength that simply going to the Temple gave me to have no desire to do evil and to only do good. I set a goal to go to the Temple once a week when I get home. Would you or someone in the family like to join me?
On Sunday we had two investigators attend church with us. We are trying to get 4 people baptized this month, even though we only have two weeks left. With the Lord's help we will get it done.
That is about it for this week. I still haven't really gotten to know our investigators very well yet because I'm still trying to get my Spanish up to speed and get to know them more. I will have more information next week on them.
Thanks for everything Dad. I love you!
Elder Harvey
