Family,
Well it's late in the day and we are just getting to our emails because the library was closed and we had to find a member's house to email at. We are at our investigator's house right now, the one that is getting baptized this week.
This week has been good. It's been real slow though... We have been doing service all day from 10-2 or 3 Tuesday-Friday. We painted the outside of one of our member's homes. It looks good now even though we didn't finish it because he ran out of paint and doesn't have money right now to buy more and so we are on hold until he can buy some more. But it has been fun. The weather here this last week had about 4 days with all over 100 degree weather. That sucked... it's way too hot here in Texas.
Camille is still going strong. She is getting baptized on the 4th of June. We are real excited about it because she is so solid. They pretty much know everything about the Gospel and are just like a solid member of 15 years right now, knowledge wise. We are both real excited about it. It will be Elder Frei's first baptism and so he is stoked about it as well. And all of our other investigators kind of dropped off.
Katie never came to church this last week, when she said she was going to and she also missed our appointment last week so we are debating dropping her, or not. And then our other investigator Denise is out of town right now. She is reading a lot of the Book of Mormon and she is really feeling the Spirit, and this last week as we were texting her to see how it was going, she sent us a text that said, "I will have to move my goal back to July because I'm so busy." Now remind you we didn't bring anything up about her baptismal goal, but she sure remembered and it is on her mind a lot and so we are excited to meet with her more and help her prepare for baptism as well.
Other than that nothing much has happened. Everything is still going great. Elder Frei and I are still getting along and we aren't having any problems. It's great!
Have a good week. Love you all!
Elder Harvey
