Hey,

Well another transfer has come and gone. I now have 4 left. We received our transfer calls yesterday, and transfers will be on Thursday. I am leaving... and I'm becoming Zone Leader. It doesn't mean anything, just that I have the chance to serve more missionaries and to work harder so that I can be the example. I'm a little nervous because obviously I don't feel like I'm capable of being a Zone Leader. But "whom the Lord calls he qualifies" right? We will find out where I will go on Thursday. I'm hoping that I just stay here in this Zone. The zone leaders here cover the UT Single's Ward right on campus and I think that would be a sweet area to cover. But if I don't go there I will love where I go.

We had a great week this last week. We have been doing a lot of service for the members. I learned how to do two things. One of them was how to put a metal roof on a house. We helped a member this last week put a metal roof on his chicken coup that is massive. The other thing I learned was how to clean a pool. We didn't really get it super clean because it was that dirty but we tried.

Jenifer and Walter Wilson got baptized this last week. I baptized Jenifer and Elder Layton baptized Walter. It was a great service. A lot of members came to it even though it was on Friday, except the priesthood brethren. They really blew the game and no body was there from Elders Quorum or High Priests to support Walter. It was disappointing and I pointed it out to them on Saturday, but they gave excuses of not remembering or the fact that they needed a reminder from us. It was a joke... But it was a good service and they really were excited about it. She started crying as her husband got baptized. They then got confirmed on Sunday and we will be working with them continually to get them ready for the temple. Like I've said before they are the most solid converts that I have had. I plan on coming back in a year from now to go to the temple with them so that they can get sealed. They are great.

We also found a new investigator that is about to get married to a member who is coming back from inactivity. He is pretty sweet. He keeps all of the commitments that we leave with him but won't be able to get baptized for a little bit because they are living together and are not married and they can't get married because her insurance will cancel out and she won't be able to buy insulin because she is diabetic. But they plan on getting married in October and so he will be able to be baptized then.

It's kind of bittersweet leaving this area. It has been a good area for me. I've had a lot of success and I have grown a lot here. So it will be hard to leave but at the same time I'm ready to go forward and move on to the next area. It has been great here though!

That is about all that happened this last week. We didn't talk to a lot of people because there were professional boat races here in Marble Falls and everyone was at those all day everyday. But it will be a good week this week!

Love you all!

Elder Harvey
